 The Role

The lead ambassador for Spring Place, the Membership Director role is integral in creating and maintaining a database of individuals to curate and build our community. Developing relationships and a community that speaks to the interests and passions of Spring Place is a fundamental requirement in this position. This position will lead all efforts and initiatives of the membership management team for Beverly Hills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 To lead Membership and actively engage with prospective Members and Membership executives to drive new member acquisition and community building.

•Coordinates forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the membership organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the membership organization’s planning efforts
•Works to ensure all membership objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.
•Proactively identifies opportunities for membership sales process improvement.
•Works closely with membership to inspect contract process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales executives in understanding process conflicts and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
•Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports.
•Implements technologies, including MotionSoft, to membership team. Monitors Spring Place’s compliance with required standards for maintaining MotionSoft data.
•Coordinates training of Membership Managers
•Provide input to leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.
•Working with Finance and Human Resources to assist with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to determine or clarify the application of sales compensation policies and procedures
•Directs and supports the consistent implementation of the company’s initiatives.
•Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.

Requirements

•Preferred Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent education combined with work experience in the hospitality and/or creative
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a direct sales role preferably within the hospitality industry with a proven track record of meeting monthly goals and objectives.
•Highly professional written and oral communication skills required and the ability to prioritize and plan sales strategies, communication, database management, and maintaining monthly goals and objectives.
•This position requires the ability to interact with all types of people. Must be able to maintain relations with co-workers, clients, Members, and visitors while representing Spring Place.
•An exemplary level of organization and ability to perform under minimal supervision and work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to ensure that deadlines and goals are met.
•Must be proficient in the following computer systems: Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Keynote, and existing knowledge of CRMs.
