STUDIO COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION: Shoots & Events – Full time position

 The Studio Coordinator is an extension of the Shoots & Events production teams and is a cornerstone in daily operations. Tasked with enforcing Spring’s brand ethos and building protocols, as well as overseeing Studio Assistants and delegating daily responsibilities. The Studio Coordinator will report directly to the Studio Manager when dealing with Shoots productions and to the Events Coordinator when dealing with Event productions. The Studio Coordinator is expected to have a proficient understanding of the day’s schedule of client and internal activity within the building and enforce Spring Studios’ venue policies while engaging with clients and guests on the floor.



Efficiently respond to directives provided by the Studio Manager during Photo Shoot Productions, or the Event Coordinator during Event Productions.

Represent Spring Studios as the first point of contact for clients working or visiting the building by initiating introductions between themselves and all clients and crew members.

Independently hold keys to the building and perform opening and closing tasks during shifts.

Actively train and advise Studio Assistants on best practices, venue policies, and equipment.

Delegate daily tasks to Studio Assistant and supervise multiple projects and teams during large scale productions.

Oversee the sign-off of build, break and check paperwork including installing equipment, power distribution and audio plug-ins, maintaining studio presentation and completing special layout instructions.

Updating client sign-in and sign-out times in blue circle and alerting appropriate internal teams of guest activity in the building.

Operate building machinery and equipment including the freight elevators, scissor lifts, blinds, truss movement, air-walls and loading bay garage doors.

Assist in the removal of waste, the movement of furniture and the cleanliness of studio and greenroom spaces during all shoots and events productions.

Communicate any client request, repairs and cleaning needs to the appropriate team.

Maintain all equipment and storages rooms.

Light administrative tasks such as Blue Circle rental system job notes, daily shift recap, and attend weekly pre-production meetings.



Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Characteristics

Prior photo or event production experience preferred.

Equipment knowledge required.

Must have a passion for hospitality and 5-Star Customer Service.

An eye for organization and cleanliness at the highest level.

Possess the endurance, mental and physical fortitude to excel in a demanding fast paced environment.

Candidate must be able to work a varied schedule, which may include nights, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended work hours and extended number of days.



This is a full-time position $50,000/salary



Studio Manager

Shoots tasking and day to day operations: Assistant Studio Manager and Studio Manager

Events tasking and day to day operations: Events Coordinator and Events Producer
